Many things that man seeks to find pleasure in will often lead to more worries, more anxieties, more depression.  There is no lasting joy, they are all temporal.  But if we can delight in the word of the Lord, it will satisfy the longing soul.

The whole Bible was given by the inspiration of God and is useful to teach what is true and to make realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.  It is God’s way of making us well prepared and fully equipped to do good to everyone.

Bible study is a special time, a time to communicate and mutually share life experiences with fellow believers. It is through studying the Bible that we can have communion, intimacy, and remain close to him.

With the...[more>>>]]]> The purpose of God in creating mankind in His image is to resemble the nature of God in us. After the fall of man, the image and likeness of God were not intact, in fact the image of God was impaired to a great extent. In Genesis 9:6, it says that “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.”

With the likeness of God gone, the image was impaired. As humans, we lost our moral attributes. God was our moral compass and we did not have that aspect of God in us after the fall. In essence, we were wandering about without a moral compass—we were lost.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. .[Jn. 3:16]

Jesus said of his divine purpose, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.[Jn. 10:10]

Mark says that Jesus came to “give his life as a ransom for many”;[Mk. 10:45] Luke, that he was sent to “preach the good news of the Kingdom of God“;[Lk. 4:43] and John, that he came so that “those who believed in him would have eternal life”.[Jn. 20:3]

If the mission of Jesus Christ was to seek and save the lost, the commission of Jesus Christ is to go and preach the good news to all mankind. Sharing the good news of restoration, to repent and turn to God, so that He will forgive our sins and restore the lost relationship with God.

We are committed to fulfill the mandate, mission and message of the Kingdom to the lost world.

We also believe in the power of prayer, which is essential in making the inner transformation.  If you have tried it all and yet failed, call us and we will stand in the gap for you and join our faith with yours and move the immovable, change the unchangeable.

We have faith in our youth to hold the pillars of the church high and strong. Our mission as a youth group is to bring together the entire group, from children to young adults and let them grow not only together in faith and love, but also to grow in their individual spiritual lives in the body of Christ. It is also our mission to set an example for our peers and the adults, both believers and non-believers through our words and our actions.

It is not only our aspiration, but our responsibility to teach the youth and bring them up in the wisdom of God; after all, the youth of today are the church of the future. A wise man once said that a good leader is not one who can make good followers, but one who can make others good leaders. Through praise and worship, youth meetings, youth events at church picnics and also youth get-togethers, it is our prayer that we may build new leaders, by refining their faith and building strong unbreakable relationships with God as well as the other youth.

We hope to see new faces this year, and thank the youth for all they’re hard work. We ask for your continued participation in youth events.
